Requirement:
- The display of the polar pattern representation should be meaningful when checking the position of the various elements on the “simulation status” dialog window, i.e. it should show the real orientation of the antenna in SEAMCAT.
Proposal:
- The polar antenna patterns should be scaled and displayed counter clockwise for both horizontal and vertical.
- In addition, the orientation of the vertical pattern graph should present the 0 deg line in the horizontal plane :
- The spherical polar antenna patterns should be displayed in a counter clockwise orientation, too.
- Here is an overview of the proposal
Testing procedure:
- Step 1: visual inspection
- Step 2: simulation results should be the same. Only the display is changed
HISTORY
The polar horizontal and the polar vertical antenna patterns with a clockwise scale between 0° and 360° don’t show the real orientation of the antenna in SEAMCAT.
The horizontal/vertical/spherical polar antenna patterns should be scaled and displayed counter clockwise. Furthermore the polar antenna patterns should be scaled with the angular values en-tered in the table.

deadline set to beta 13. If Stefan can not finish by the deadline then it is moved to the next one. Work to be done on the 3.1.45 source code.
